What Is Inside a Knife or Never Buy Cheap Instruments

I bought this set about a year ago. Three holders and several knives. Everything was well until I started using them for more challenging tasks. Finally, the knife snapped in two when I was cutting through a thick layer of LaDoll.

And it wasn’t the blade that broke, but the handle. Inside it, there was a sort of plastic core. 

That’s a lesson for me – never buy cheap instruments. Now I’m looking for good knives.
